Cheltenham based cybersecurity consultants and software development company Red Maple Technologies, have appointed Ed Bussey as a Director to lead the growth and product go to market strategy.
Founded in 2018 by ex-government and defence engineers, Red Maple Technologies has gone from strength to strength, evolving from a strictly cybersecurity consultancy to include the development of a range of cybersecurity SaaS products. Their latest product FractalScan Surface, was used to help Which? test a range of consumer brands cybersecurity posture.
Ed joins the company at an exciting time and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience scaling software products internationally that will help drive Red Maple Technologies to the next level of growth.
Ed started his career in the military where he served operationally for 14 years with the UK government around the world in the national security and counter terrorism field. After his service Ed continued his career as a serial entrepreneur successfully launching, scaling & exiting 3 venture capital-based technology businesses.
Having won UK Entrepreneur of the Year in 2015 and the Heropreneur of the Year for the most successful UK military veteran entrepreneur in 2019, the awards and success speak for themselves.
The appointment of Ed signals the next stage of development for Red Maple Technologies as they look to expand their suite of SaaS products.
